Core Competency Exam - Nursing
 
The Core Competency Exam: Nursing is designed to be completed by licensed nursing staff. The exam randomly pulls from a bank of over 250 questions on the following topics - Advance Directives, Age-Related Competency, Bloodborne Pathogens, Cultural Competency, Documentation and Risk Management, Drug-Impaired Healthcare Worker, Electrical Safety, Emergency Preparedness, End of Life Care, Fire Safety, HIPAA Standards, Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals, Latex Sensitivity and Allergies, Medication Error Prevention, Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention, Organ and Tissue Donation, Pain Management, Patient Rights, Recognizing and Reporting Abuse (Child, Domestic, and Elder), Restraints and Seclusion, Security and Workplace Violence Prevention, Sexual Harassment, Tuberculosis Education, and Universal Precautions.
